Is it me or does it look like someone's in Angus school shorts?
What Starfire, it's only a glimpse sadly.
Trippy 12 string, EKO maybe?
Sounds like a WEM or Guild Copicat in action during the alternate verses?
Single Florentine cutaway + Guildsby = Starfire III.What Starfire, it's only a glimpse sadly.
@GAD has done the best reviews I've read of the 1960s Starfire III and the recent Newark Street version. How do these compare with the later guitars with different pickups and pickup placement?
Tone and playability?
The scale remained the same?
Agreed - not disputing that. If you ask a music non-geek (there are very few of those around here) to name some of their songs, you might get "Lola". And that's it.Underrated? They’re one of the founding fathers of Rock ‘n Roll!
Sunny Afternoon and You Really Got Me surely widely known? The former gets used on TV adverts here quite often.Agreed - not disputing that. If you ask a music non-geek (there are very few of those around here) to name some of their songs, you might get "Lola". And that's it.

I would bet youngsters think YRGM is a Van Halen song.
I guess I'm not showing my age. I knew VH did a cover, not an original, but quite honestly when I replay the song in my mind as we are talking about it, VH is the version that is stuck in my head.
