That Gibby J-185TV is so darn nice I just can't let it go...would I let go my Guild to get it? Maybe, but I don't have to.

Up for sale at this time is Chris Wood Guitars build number 3, nick named Clara by my wife because of the Claro Walnut used in the neck construction.

Yeah, that might do it. Yummy binding!

I understand humility and all, but If I built that thing, I'd insist on putting my name on the headstock to take a little credit for the 1000 hours of precision and heart it must have taken.

Amen to that, iJam.
We expect some kind of logo/design/name on the headstock anyway for field identification purposes, so it makes sense to me.

I love the variety of having instruments made by different manufacturers. In acoustic six strings, that mainly means Guild, Martin, and Collings for me. For acoustic 12 strings, ONLY Guild will do!

If I could only own one acoustic, it would read "Collings" on the headstock.

'Course if I saw a guitar that said "Wood" on the headstock I'd probably say to myself "Well D-u--h!"

Hey guys, don't know how I missed this discussion that mentioned my guitar. Guess I need to pay closer attention! Thanks for all your feedback, I really appreciate it. My other guitars have had my logo on the headstock, and they all have it on the label. I just wanted this one to remain very low key.

I just reduced the price substantially on this one, if anyone knows somebody who has an interest.
