Sal Manilla and the Sons of Botulism. They were a Funk/Latin Group. It was a short lived experience.

I played in another Jazz quintet called the B & G Quintet....which sounds pretty boring unless you know what it stands for. When deliberating on a band name the drummer ripped a fat one and stated "Whew....I hope there was enough biscuit there to hold back the gravy" and there you have it. Crass and probably only funny to me and the fellas. We opened up for Cool and the Gang with that name in the 90's

My friends were "Hungry Chuck and the Biscuits." :D
Back when Princess Diana was expecting her first, the rumor was that they were going to name the kid "Uppland" or "Upp" for short. Then the royal family would have been known as "Upp, Chuck, and Di."
Somehow things didn't work out but I bet there's a band out there somewhere still ferociously clinging to the name....
Personally I'm just waiting to round up enough guys to form "He(a)rd of Cats". :D

During his college daze in Manhattan, Kan., a friend of mine told me about a local outfit that called itself Puke Weasel, Mamba Pamba and the 12 Easy Snack Cakes. I said "so that's three bands then?" And he replied, "No, just one."

How to you make merchandise with that handle?

When the royal couple first got married I heard a radio announcer propose a toast: "Drink up Chuck and Di" (drink, upchuck and die)

I came up with what I thought would be a good name for a death metal band: "Abra Cadaver" :)

A garage band I know of that never made it out of the garage called themselves the Toad Suckers, a bunch of young guys who were overly influenced by the Kenny Rogers movie "Six Pack"...

I did some songs for a cd, just for the purpose of copyright registration. I multi-tracked some of them and played guitar, bass, keyboards sang lead and backups and finally referred to it as Dennis Miller & the All Dennis Miller Orchestra.

If my parents were still alive, we would have sold enough copies to go polyester.

There used to be a band called Phil Dirt and the Dozers. Not really sure what they were into....

As far as I know they're still around. A regular performer at the Sternwheel Festival in my home town. They play mostly pop from '50's/'60's/'70's. Seen them a few times.

Here's a title for your first album: "You Saved My Life and I'll Never Forgive You For It" :D
