Doc, don't take this wrong but to me that one hanging next to the door is an accident waiting to happen...Innocent party cheerfully opens door with arms full from shopping or whatever...gives it a little extra nudge with the hip....need I say more?
Doc, just move it down and over so that the sound hole lines up with the door knob, and it should be fine.
The strings will bounce the door right back.

West

PS.....................nice little setup Doc.

Thanks for the concern but the door is a sliding patio door (left to right). A new deck is in the future but the room is definitely NOT a party room. We've dubbed it our sitting room for reading, writing, practicing guitar, and snuggling. Guests can only PEEK in.

Peace

Oh, you mean the "OTHER" door. :D It's a closet door with a stop on the inside of the jamb. It cannot hit the guitar.

And geeesh; that's not a waste bucket. It's a "decorative wire throw pillow basket", she said.

Peace

I had to tell.
You gotta be aware of your surroundings when Guilds are exposed. 8)
Oh, BTW.....
I currently have 3 guitars out (D-25, S-100, the beater Yamaha) and the rest is patiently waiting for my love and attention in their cases. (Almost forgot what the thread was about)

Gliding chairs, my friend. I have two of these, and love them. No arms.

Room looks good, guits look real good...and the access to the backyard,

After looking at the layout, I'm more concerned about the arms on that rocker than anything else.

Doc?

Joe

I'm pretty sure ya'll are a bit whacky and I love it; the fact of being one sandwich short of a picnic that is
No Joe, I don't play in that rocker. Tried playing ON it once but that's another story.

We had a fire in the building next door just over 10 years ago and the firemen told us to grab what we could carry in one load, and leave.
I grabbed my D50 and my camera case.
*My wife grabbed a couple of photo albums and a box of....shoes.
She suffers from SAS!

It's always an interesting choice in that situation,
Joe
