Jazzman, so happy for you! Sandy, are you listening? This ought to help your wait be a little more bearable!

Well, I guess it was a bit more than 60 days since last October, but in this case the end probably justifies the means if it's that good.

Here are some pics!

Don't mind the one non-abalone bridge pin. I am replacing the stock plastic pins with bone ones at the moment.

And now she's back to her side of the rack!

I am still blown away at the perfection of their work!
I also love the smell of nitro!

She sounds FANTASTIC!

Excuse me while I pass out!!!! Wow.......just incredible. Does she sound ok?

The absolute king of acoustic guitars in my book.......toss up between the D100 and the Martin D45, but I prefer the Guild of course. Man I'm glad this worked out for you.

She sounds amazing!
So much louder than I remember! Absolutely my loudest, fullest-sounding guitar!

Some interesting info: You know, this one (along with my DV-72s and my prior Westerly D-55) have scalloped cross bracing (behind the soundhole, facing towards the bridge), which I don't see in any of my New Hartford Guilds, nor did my Tacomas have.

It also looks like they replaced my pickguard and my Gold Grover tuner buttons as well. No charge.

I actually cant tell if they just replaced the buttons or if they outright replaced the tuners. The tuner covers (on the back) look kind of worn, so I think only the buttons were changed.

Either which way, they went above and beyond on all of their work.

It's like getting a 2010 D100, built in Westerly and Nashville. Interesting on the bracing.

I am totally impressed...with the guitar and the repair work. One thing I have learned- you need to be careful who you let work on your instruments. Always good to know who does good work. So glad everything turned out well.

It really is! I'm actually looking forward to sending my JF-100 there late this year for an overhaul!
The potential work for the JF is: neck reset, replane/refret fingerboard, full top and neck refinish, bracing check, setup.

Just beautiful, Jazz! I'm glad there's a happy ending here, and I hope I get a similar result when my baby comes back from Nashville.

Jazz, it looks great, and the flamed maple binding is outstanding. If I had my druthers, that's what Guild would use rather than the traditional white plastic. But, that's truly a custom now. Lovely.

That sure it a museum piece! A nice ending to that horror story. Here is a dumb question. What does the C on D100C stand for. I originally thought cutaway. Carved neck perhaps?

Yup. Carved heel.
