Studied 5 years. Studied and taught 5 years Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do. Got 2nd degree in Hap ki Do in Tae Gu City Korea. Two of my instructors went on to college and I was left alone to teach too many classes. The dojangs paid for lots of trips to Jamaica.

Find Waldo

Cool Waldo......great shot. Tell me if you recognize the guy to your right, my left?

I actually got to go a few rounds with Mr. Wallace. I've never had more fun getting beat up!

I seem to recall meeting him, shaking his hand. He was shorter than I expected. Damned if I can remember the setting. It had to be a tourny or a demo. There's two things you lose when you get old. One's your memory and I can't remember the other.
Back to the original thread, I think I remember being a senior member.

It's OK, I'm sure we'll recover in due time. ;)

I've got to find those smiley faces on this new site........can't get used to this place. I'm like Ken, heck I've deleted all my PM's and still get a mailbox full message.

I'm taking off the 4th of July week, and suggested just that to the boss. Mrs. West says our grandaughter is having a birthday party that week, and that we WILL attend. Now I'm not sure what that means.......a week long party? One to include both weekends? Heck Ken, who knows what she has planned? The sky is actually a different color in her world......but she's still the best wife I've ever had.

Kerry is a keeper Jim and that is for sure... Maybe; just maybe she'll find some time for 'The Hill Country'... Hope so!!

Planning a west USA RV trip this summer but unsure when/if we'll carry through. Gotta line some stars up first.... Dang... 'There's a song in there somewhere'... ;)

Oh my gosh Ken, I think we've gone and done it now......another veer! But then, my mentioning the veer is a veer, isn't it? Can you veer yourself? Or can only others veer you? This is about 4 veers in this thread........would that make this a quadveer? We used to have a guy come around who's signature was "Don't fear the veer", but I fear the veer is feared by some here. Well, that's niether here nor there.

That's a "metaveer," Jim. The fact that it's self-referential makes it really interesting. :)

Here's one for you: "This statement is false." Is that a true statement or a false one?

Not to get too far from the original thread, but facts tend to be objective while the truth tends to be subjective. So the statement above can be either true or false depending on the state of the viewer. I'll have a nice cold 16oz. veer. What's on tap.
