:)

and... VERY good choice, Jamie!

Dogfish 60 was the first IPA that I noticed. I had never had a beer with citrus notes before and I liked it. Fast forward and note that Dogfish has good local market penetration and two Ale Houses within 10 miles.

Hmmmm. Even though I generally despise the "neo" prefix because it usually represents something worse than the original version, with the approval of our super, duper, extra, spectacular, moderators, I will entertain a motion to rename this thread the "neo-thread about nothing" or possibly "the thread about neo-nothing". Frivolous irreverence is after all a staple of life. Just sayin.

Speaking of White Rabbit, here's Cathy Richardson showing Grace how it's done:

Nice. Having listened to (suffered through?) some of the recordings of Grace with Great Society, it is clear that there is some material she cannot redeem and other material that is good enough to support multiple interpreters. In this case the vocals were fine but the bassist was lazy and that bothered me a whole lot more. Maybe it is just the computer speakers but for a riff that is at most 4 notes and being driven by the rhythm, there is a lot more going on when Casady played it.

Maybe a Senior Member is one who is old enough that they could have heard Grace Slick live when she was performing?

Fear the veer? Not here.

Well problem number one is that there's no bassist! All the bass is played on keyboards!

Wow, really? Without a doubt one of the best bassist to ever pick up the instrument! IMHO YMMV!

Well you see, In The Days of My Youth, I didn't listen to the Beatles all that much, and when I did, I wasn't focusing on the bass. Sir Paul's failure to stand out says at least as much about my listening preferences as it does about his playing. Nice link, though. Thanks.

That said, head for 2:24 in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrTS7b028A8 to hear the direction my personal aspirations head in.
